We were delighted to support the second Addenbrooke’s Endourology Masterclass, hosted by Mr Oliver Wiseman and Mr Laurian Dragos, in partnership with HugeMed.
The programme brought together delegates for two highly engaging days of learning, discussion and hands-on clinical education.
Day one focused on the latest developments in ureteroscopy and PCNL, with expert-led sessions exploring the technologies shaping modern stone treatment. Key topics included the importance of intra-renal pressure management, advances in laser technology, and the evolving role of innovation in improving procedural outcomes. The interactive format encouraged excellent discussion and knowledge sharing, which continued during a tour of Cambridge and over the course dinner.
On day two, delegates observed a live PCNL and three flexible ureteroscopy cases, with all ureteroscopies performed using the HugeMed 6.3Fr single-use ureteroscope. Between cases, Mr Wiseman led thought-provoking discussions on the metabolic management of stone disease, highlighting opportunities to further enhance long-term patient care and outcomes.
The feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with delegates leaving with practical insights and learnings they can immediately apply within their own clinical practice.
A huge thank you to our faculty, delegates and partners for making the event such a success. We look forward to supporting future educational programmes and continuing to advance best practice in endourology.
